Silk Peel MD

The Silk Peel MD uses advanced technology – Dermalinfusion. While microdermabrasion by the old method removed the upper layer of skin by fine sand or some type of course particle scraping away dead skin by use of suction tips. Dermalinfusion incorporates a form of microdermabrasion as part if its process, it also infuses products into the skin while the pores are open, thus plumping the skin up to 70%. The skin will then remain hydrated up to 72 hours.

SilkPeel is the brand name marketed in most countries (and also “EnDouceur Dermolissage” in Europe), there are some differences in how medical professionals use dermalinfusion, and what they use it for, versus traditional microdermabrasion devices.

Microdermabrasion by SilkPeel offers a particle-free, multi-level microdermabrasion, exfoliation and epidermal infusion treatment that can help benefit the following skin conditions:

•               Reducing aging lines             •               Sun-damaged skin / photo damage       •               Melasma (irregular brown patches)

•               Revitalize dull skin                 •               Reduction of fine lines                             •               Hyper-pigmentation (brown patches/age spots)

•               Improve/control acne            •               Refine enlarged pores                               •               Uneven skin texture

•               Surgical scars                          •               Pre-Photodynamic Therapy treatment •               Improving overall skin health

SilkPeel MD’s med spa topical solutions for epidermal infusion are formulated to treat specific dermatological conditions and include Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C for specific targeted needs of the individual.

How Does it Work?

Gentle vacuum action stimulates bloodflow, cleans the pores of any oil or dirt and lifts the surface of the skin and “sweeps away” dead skin cells that are suctioned back into the vacuum creating a smoother, healthier appearing skin. The increased blood flow to the skin’s surface encourages collagen formation thus firming and toning the epidermis as well. Patients see a noticeable skin improvement after the first treatment with little or no down time. A series of treatments are recommended to achieve optimal results. Maintenance treatments every 4 weeks are ideal to help keep the skin looking its best.
